Farm pick up on Wednesday 11 – 7, Northside (Allegheny Commons) on Friday 3 – 7, and Squirrel Hill (beacon/bartlette) on Sunday 9 – 1.

Half Hogs
It’s time to stock up for winter. Click here to put your DEPOSIT on a half hog. It’s a great way to maximize your value by buying in ‘bulk’. Imagine having great tasting pork at your finger tips all winter long!
Pizza Day
This Wednesday is Pizza Day at the farm. We’ll crank out pizzas from the wood oven starting around noon until we run out of dough! Come and enjoy warm farm fresh pizza in a cool Fall day!
The Big Pour (finale)
Have you gotten your tickets for Construction Junction’s final Big Pour? They invited us back again this year (although we aren’t bringing piglets this time!). But we ARE sampling our Bombas. What’s that you say? We’re debuting our latest creation, inspired from Puglia, Italy. Cheesy sausages wrapped in bacon and roasted. They are delectable. Come down to the Big Pour on Saturday, October 7th from 5 – 8 pm at Rockwell Park in the East End of Pittsburgh and try these tasty morsels. They are da’bomb! We’ll have “make your own Bombettas” kits on sale there, and opportunities to win discounts and prizes from our farm!
The Big Squeeze
If you missed the Spretzzatura dinner and you missed our farm Fall Party Cider Pressing (aka, The Big Squeeze)….. you missed out! Despite the cold, drizzly, classic Western Pennsylvania dreariness, we all had a great time!
I have to admit…. I irrigated the veggies on Friday, which is probably why it rained on Saturday. My heartfelt apologies for not thinking that through!
Apple chunks were flying, fresh cider was squeezed, then heated over the fire, while we grilled hotdogs and burned marshmallows. The kids were busy with hot glue and making acorn creatures, kickball, mega bubbles, button making, and scavenger hunts.
When you come out for the CSA pick up this week…. watch out – I’m sure it’s still sticky ’round here!
