Best in the Burgh

We’ve made it into the top 10 CSAs for Pittsburgh and think it would be amazing to make to the #1 CSA! Thanks to whoever nominated us – what a warm fuzzy feeling!!

Place your vote HERE for Blackberry Meadows Farm as Best CSA!

Looking at the line-up – almost every CSA in Pittsburgh is on the list. What’s unique about our CSA is that we adhere to the Community Supported part of the CSA. Some other CSAs are acting more like middle-men and compiling produce from multiple sources for weekly deliveries. Our CSA is truly “from our farm”.

We’re passionate about the community part of the far by inviting you all to be a part of our farm through;

  • workshare customers and community farm lunches
  • weekly CSA family farm-visits
  • animals: bunnies, dogs and cats to cuddle, pigs to visit and eggs to collect
  • weekly bonfires
  • farm tours
  • workshops
  • dinners
  • home school get-togethers
  • Little Homesteaders Farm Camp
  • farm stay-cations
  • and so much more!

Throw in a vote and let’s see if we can win!

Our chances gotta be better than winning the Mega Million lottery!

Little Homesteaders Farm Camp:  Plan for farm chores (collect eggs, tend the veggies, help with the harvest, and visit the pigs), crafts, games, snacks, tree house time and time in the pines.  We will build community with each other and participate in the growing farm community throughout the week.  Campers will have dedicated time for play, work, and rest.

Campers should bring a lunch. Farm appropriate attire – mud boots, change of clothes, water bottle, and hat.

*5 year olds are welcome with previous farm/camp experience.
