Farm Journal 12/5/24

We’re in a bit of a time warp now that CSA and farmers markets are mostly over. I say mostly, because. you can STILL bundle up and find us at the Bloomfield and Squirrel Hill Farmers markets! Assuming the grill can handle the cold, we’ll be cooking up our tasty Farmer’s Grill sandwiches and polenta.

The kids have been busy crafting Holiday gifts – so keep an eye out for Evelyn’s new set of Holiday Greeting Card Packages, and Olivia’s handmade ornaments (each one’s unique!).

I’ll also update the web-store with shelf-stable items – like jams and jellies, syrup, and Greg’s handmade soaps (we’re wrapping them now!). This all make great stocking stuffers or Host Gifts.

We also have Gift Cards available, which I can mail to you or to a desired location (put recipient’s address in the “notes” section when you check out).

Don’t forget that we have a Holiday Bundle for sale too – You’ve already missed the Thanksgiving round – so we’ve crossed that out and adjusted the price. You can still stock up for the end of December and then New Years. Show off your prowess at cheffing up local meals!

Our Veggie package is still an option – with peppers, cabbage, carrots, herbs, garlic, and a few radishes.

We’re also making plans for Farm Club and encourage you to SIGN UP HERE if you’re interested in growing a row (or more!) of food this season on the farm.

Enjoy the snow! The kids have already gotten the sleds out and have tested out the sled riding hill. Wintertime success! They’ve been wishing they were up in Edinboro at their Grandparent’s house, elbow deep in snow…..
