We’re famous!

Some of you may have caught us on WQED last week. We were on a show about Jobs of the Future. Up there with robotic farming, and hydroponics, we were there to say that traditional/sustainable ways of growing food are still around. It’s a thing. Hopefully, it’ll still be a thing for a long while. And you know what makes up the heart of growing food (for us, at least)? It’s the community. They wrapped up the show segment with our farm, and our people out in the fields, working hard, building community around food production, and then sharing in a meal afterwards.

We plan to make regular deliveries into Pittsburgh on Saturdays, once markets are over. We’ll head to Northside, Mt Lebanon, Lawrenceville, and East Liberty/Point Breeze areas sometime in the afternoon. Maybe you’d be interested in getting regular monthly deliveries of sausages and bacon? Join our Sausage Stuffer Share and, starting in December – we’ll bring down 8 lbs of bacon/sausages for you until April!

The turkeys are doing well! They’ll be processed the week before Thanksgiving and we’ll figure out pick up times and locations before that. Stay tuned!!
