We’re looking for a Farm Educator. Please reach out!
Join us at Blackberry Meadows Farm for our Little Homesteaders Summer 2024 season! We’ll be growing as homesteaders and friends as we work with each other to get the farm and ourselves ready for the growing season. We’ll be tending to the animals, seeding and transplanting in the greenhouse, planting and preparing the field. We’ll also have lots of tire swing and tree house time.
Little Homesteaders will be a fully outdoor class so please come dressed for the elements! We will send a recommended list of gear once your child is registered. Snacks are provided but feel free to send something with your child if they’re a picky eater!

- No. This is an all -outdoor class. We’ll meet rain or shine. In the case of hazardous weather we’ll communicate any cancellations by 8 am.
This is a project-based class where we’ll be doing lots of different activities each time we meet. Every class will include time for free-play, a group meeting and discussion, snack time, and farm chores.
Yes, snacks are provided although feel free to send a snack if your child is a picky eater!

$325 Little Homesteaders Farm Camp Sessions --- $45 Little Homesteaders Saturdays
For Farm Camp only, there is a $10 discount for each additional child
Payment can be made by check, through Blackberry Meadows website, or with cash. Please let us know if you would need to break up the price in multiple installments. We are happy to help make it work!
Refunds will only be issued if the weather makes it unsafe for us to be outside. Refunds will be pro-rated for the number of days missed.
