Spring is just around the corner, and I'm sure you're already thinking about what to plant in your garden!  We're a couple steps ahead of you and want to encourage you to sign up now for your Garden Share this year.

Currently, we have kale, cabbage, lettuce, chard, broccoli and scallions (among other veggies) started in the greenhouse.  We're also packing seeds for your first spring planting too.   Now's a great time to sign up and get on that gardening train!

Sign up here  on our website and get your first distribution in Mid- March.

If you've been a Garden Share member in the past and have any input on how to improve what we do - please let us know!  We're always striving to a better product and service and we need feed back.

The Distribution Details

Here's what you need to know about picking up your Garden Shares for March 15.

For the farm pick up:  March's pick up will be at the farm house Come to the farm on Wednesdays from 11-7 (7115 Ridge Rd Natrona Heights, PA 15065).  You'll pick up your share at the house at the top of the hill - drive around back..

For the City Pick up:  Until we start up at the Phipps Farmers Market in June, we'll be dropping the Garden Share's off at house in Squirrel Hill.
Please go to: 1226 Bellerock Street Pittsburgh PA 15217.  You're shares will be set outside by 2 pm on Wednesday.  Please be courteous, as this is someones home!

Your seedlings will come in seedling plug trays and you'll have a packet of seeds too.  We''ll provide a map (kind of like you get in a box of chocolates) telling you what plants are in your trays.  We follow the Square Foot Gardening method, and use that recommended spacing (info to be included with your seed packet).
